// ]]>           As I reported in a post a few days earlier, I stated that within the next few weeks cuban free agent Jorge Soler would need to be signed by an MLB club. The outcome came sooner than expected when today, the outfielder got signed by the Chicago Cubs who were one of the major pursuiters I mentioned in the last report. Soler’s deal was a whopping 9 year, 30 million dollar deal that can make the Cubs have success in the near future. They already have a few good young guns such as Starlin Castro and Anthony Rizzo. Soler will make a huge impact once he gains his full potential in the bigs. Although the other main pursuitor I mentioned, the Dodgers, didn’t get the man they wanted, I still believe they will have a great time at the trade deadline as I stated in another one of my articles. All in all, Soler got his deal and hopefully will produce and make the Cubs a contender once again.Thank you for reading my post and have a great day!
